Paleo Perfected Air Fried Chicken Wings
Eating Paleo doesn’t mean you have to give up all of your favorite foods. Weekends, parties, and game days wouldn’t be the same without chicken wings! Using an air fryer and our delicious recipe, you can have crispy wings without cheating on your diet goals!
- Cook Time20 min
- Chicken wings
- Marinade of your choice (we like to use Yellowbird Hot Sauce)
- Pork Panko breadcrumb alternative
Preparing Your Wings
Coat your wings in the marinade of your choice and allow to sit in the fridge for 4-12 hours. You can use any type of marinade you’d like. Some of our favorite options include:
- Yellowbird hot sauce
- Melted butter with buffalo sauce, garlic powder, and a little bit of brown mustard.
What you add to your marinade and how much is dependent on your personal preferences. We like our wings hot. If you’re looking for something milder, you can opt for buffalo sauce, which has a little less of a kick.
Yellowbird hot sauce (an organic, non-GMO alternative to regular hot sauce) comes in several flavorful varieties and is available in our Paleo Perfected Store.
Air Frying Your Wings to Crispy Perfection
Place your wings in your air fryer. Cook for 15 mins at 360 degrees.
We have a Nuwave 6 qt digital fryer, and we love it! Air fryers are great because you can cook all of your favorite fried foods with little to no oil.
Flip your wings and cook for another 5 mins.
Check the temperature of your wings. Your wings will be crisped to perfection once they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
